REFUNDS & WITHDRAWAL:

Enrollment Grace Period: Lineage Dance Co. offers a 72-hour grace period following class enrollment. This window begins at the time enrollment is submitted in Jackrabbit, which may differ from the time payment is processed.

During this period, families may cancel their dancer’s registration without penalty by providing written notice via email to info@lineagedanceco.com.

After 72 hours, all enrollments are considered final and non-refundable. Due to the high demand for classes and limited availability, each enrollment reserves a spot that could otherwise be filled by another dancer. This policy helps ensure fairness and efficiency in our registration process. No exceptions will be made beyond the 72-hour window to maintain fairness for all families.

Withdrawal from Studio Classes: Any request to withdraw from studio classes must be submitted in writing via email to info@lineagedanceco.com. To avoid being charged for the next tuition cycle, written withdrawal requests must be received at least 5 business days prior to the scheduled tuition withdrawal date. No exceptions will be made to this timeline.

Attendance & Unenrollment Policy: Consistent attendance is essential for dancer progress and classroom dynamics. If a dancer misses three consecutive weeks of class without any communication from the family, Lineage Dance Co. will send a notification email to the primary contact on file.

If the dancer then misses a fourth consecutive class without communication, they will be unenrolled from the class and will not be eligible for a refund. This policy ensures that available class spots are used by families actively participating in the program.

Refund Policy: Refunds will only be considered under the following circumstances, with appropriate documentation:

  • Relocation of the dancer outside a 30-mile radius of Lineage Dance Co. (proof of address change required)

  • Serious injury or illness (doctor’s note required)

All approved refunds will be prorated based on the point at which the refund is issued.

Young Dancer Attendance Policy (Ages 5 and Under): In the event a dancer (age 5 or under as of 9/1/25) is resistant to attending class, a prorated tuition credit may be issued for the remainder of the current quarter’s tuition (excluding the membership fee). This credit is:

  • Only available to be issued within the first four weeks of the dancer’s enrollment

  • Valid for one year from the date of issue

  • Not eligible for refund. Unfortunately, no exceptions will be made to this policy.

PAYMENT POLICIES:

Automatic Payment Schedule

  • The Membership Fee is automatically withdrawn at the time of enrollment.

  • The Initial Tuition Payment is automatically withdrawn at the time of enrollment, with quarterly tuition payments automatically processed on 11/1 and 2/1

  • Studio Show Costume Fees and the Studio Show Fee will be automatically withdrawn on the specific dates outlined in the published payment schedule.

Declined Payments & Grace Period

If the stored credit card is declined for any reason, the primary account holder will be notified via email within 1 business day of the issue. A three (3) business day grace period will be provided to update the payment method and bring the account current.

  • If payment is not received within the grace period, a $30 late fee will be applied to the account.

  • A $30 late fee will continue to be assessed weekly for every week the balance remains unpaid.

  • Late fees will be charged regardless of ongoing email communication regarding the payment issue. This policy ensures fairness and consistency for all families.

Delinquent Accounts, Withdrawal & Costume Distribution

If a balance remains unpaid two weeks after the grace period has expired, the dancer will be automatically withdrawn from all enrolled classes.

  • All account balances must be paid in full in order for a dancer to:

    • Remain enrolled in their studio class

    • Participate in Studio Show

    • Receive studio show costumes — costumes will not be issued to dancers with unpaid balances.

If an account remains delinquent after a dancer has been unenrolled, the studio reserves the right to pursue payment collection strategies, which may include referral to a third-party collection agency. Any associated fees incurred in the collection process will become the responsibility of the account holder.

Hardship Considerations: Lineage Dance Co. understands that unexpected life circumstances can arise. If your family is experiencing unusual financial or personal hardship, please reach out to info@lineagedanceco.com to discuss your situation. While our standard policies apply in most cases, we are always open to having a conversation and exploring potential options for unique circumstances.

MAKE UP / MISSED CLASSES:

We value providing a consistent experience for our dancers and as a result will not be offering make up classes for any missed classes. Missed classes will not be eligible for a refund.

In the case of inclement weather, the studio will close if Franklin County reaches a Level 2 Snow Emergency or is under a Tornado Warning. All other closures as a result of weather conditions (high winds, severe thunderstorms, etc.) will be made as soon as possible and communicated via email and social media. There will be no refunds for classes canceled due to inclement weather.

If you know that your child will be missing class, you are welcome to email
info@lineagedanceco.com to alert the teacher of your child’s absence.
