The Performance Collective is open to dancers ages 5-14 looking for an opportunity to PERFORM more! Dancers in this group take studio classes as a team one time per week and learn three, high energy routines throughout the year to perform at local and community events! Dancers train and get exposure to multiple styles within their class block!

Note: There is not a competition element to this group.

The Performance Collective meets one time weekly and therefore dancers must be enrolled in the entire Performance Collective Block for their age/level to help build team camaraderie!

Dancers in this group should expect one performance a quarter to showcase the routines they have learned throughout the weekly classes.

Dancers will enroll in the class based on their age on 9/1/25 or grade entering the 25-26 academic year and stay in that class for the full season (August-May).

The age groups / grade levels provided below encompasses the average for each group and serve as guidance for parents to enroll.

Note: The Lineage Dance Co. Staff will evaluate the dancer’s ability and experience level the first few weeks of classes and suggest an adjustment, if needed, to provide the best experience for the dancer!

25-26 Performance Collective Levels

Age 5 — Rookie Performance Collective
1st Grade — Petite Prep Performance Collective
2nd Grade—Petite Performance Collective
3rd Grade — Mini Prep Performance Collective
4th Grade — Mini Performance Collective
4th-5th Grade— Junior Prep Performance Collective
5th-8th Grade— Junior Performance Collective

Dancers in The Performance Collective should expect to perform quarterly at a variety of venues. Potential performance opportunities may include local festivals, Columbus Zoo, Ohio State Sporting Events, Studio Show, etc. The exact schedule of performances will be made available once confirmed, on or around September 2025. These performances are required to be part of The Lineage Dance Co. Performance Collective.

As with studio classes, the tuition for this program is collected on a quarterly basis on the same schedule as studio classes. All studio class fees (membership, costume & studio show) and payment policies apply with a few exceptions listed below. 2025-2026 Studio Class Tuition Information & Payment Policies can be found here.

—Dancers in The Performance collective have additional costs rolled into their quarterly payment. The quarterly payment includes class tuition, routine choreography, rehearsal fees and performance accessories.

Rookie Performance Collective Tuition: $315 per quarter

Petite Prep, Petite Performance Collective Tuition: $365 per quarter

Mini Prep / Mini Performance Collective Tuition: $425 per quarter

Junior Prep / Junior Performance Collective Tuition: $485 per quarter

Performance Collective Fee: $160; deducted June 1 (6/1/24), non-refundable - NEW MEMBERS ONLY
