REGISTER FOR A PRIVATE LESSON

How to Book

Private lessons can be scheduled through the Appointments feature in JackRabbit. Payment is made online by credit card at the time of booking. All lessons are subject to instructor and studio availability.

Lesson Rates

  • Private lesson (1 dancer): $60 per half hour

  • Semi-private lesson (2–3 dancers): $90 per half hour

If a semi-private lesson becomes a private lesson because another dancer cancels at least one week in advance, the lesson will be adjusted to the private lesson rate.

If a dancer withdraws from a semi-private lesson within one week of the scheduled lesson, their portion of the lesson is non-refundable. The remaining dancer(s) may still attend at the originally scheduled time.

Rescheduling & Cancelling

Lessons may be rescheduled or cancelled at least one week before the scheduled lesson without penalty.

Lessons may be moved to another available time with the same instructor or cancelled for a refund.

Within one week of the scheduled lesson, lessons are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

This policy also applies to routine illnesses, scheduling conflicts, school commitments, travel, and other personal conflicts.

Multiple Reschedules

A lesson may be rescheduled a maximum of two times. After the second reschedule, the lesson must be used at the scheduled time or it will be forfeited without a refund.

Late Arrivals

Dancers arriving late will receive the remainder of their scheduled lesson time. Lessons will still end at the originally scheduled time and will not be extended due to a late arrival.

If an instructor is running late, the dancer will receive their full scheduled lesson time or an appropriate reschedule or credit will be provided.

No-Shows

If a dancer does not attend a scheduled lesson, the lesson will be forfeited and no refund or credit will be given. A new private lesson may be booked and paid for separately.

Studio or Instructor Cancellations

If Lineage Dance Co. or the instructor must cancel a lesson due to weather, illness, studio closure, or another unforeseen circumstance, the lesson will be rescheduled within two weeks whenever possible. If a mutually agreeable time cannot be arranged, a refund will be issued.

Lineage Dance Co. may provide another qualified instructor when appropriate.

Refund Exceptions

Within the one-week cancellation window, private lesson payments are generally non-refundable. Exceptions may be considered for extraordinary circumstances, including:

  • Moving outside a 30-mile radius of the studio, with proof of a new address.

  • A serious illness or injury that prevents participation, with a doctor's note.

Any additional exceptions are at the discretion of Lineage Dance Co.

Private Lesson Expectations

Private lessons are supplemental training opportunities. Participation in private lessons does not guarantee placement, casting, advancement, competition results, or selection for any Lineage Dance Co. program or team.

Lineage Dance Co. reserves the right to adjust instructors, studio space, or lesson availability when necessary.
